Due Diligence covers a very broad set of research skills, some of which require specialized degreed
training in that particular aspect of the research, while others don’t such as courthouse and oil and gas
commission research. There are many layers to performing Due Diligence. It applies to purchasing or
selling producing oil and gas wells, leases and/or companies.
